Driver drove like a maniac.
A journey that should have taken 2 hours took 1 hour and 10 minutes. Drove extremely fast, overhauling literally everyone, even in dangerous situations, scrolled on his phone while driving full speed on the highway and drank what looked like beer
Bus was only 10min late, clean and comfy. We had to switch 2 times but the buses were the same. Bad thing were the drivers. Very kind and friendly yet driving unsafe, speeding and overtaking everything even medical transports. It made me feel sick.
The Transfer was delayed for 15 min. After we got to the point to get on the Main Bus we waited 45 min until the main bus was ready with no info about the bus schedule or remaining waiting time. When we got too frustrated and asked for an update, the bus just arrived. Would have appreciated more transparency.
The ride was great, no major issues. But major issue was that there were 2 locations for drop off but I couldn't find where 1 of the location was on Google maps and the location I picked was so damn far from the old quarter. There were 4 people who got off midway and swapped to a car.

The Pickup was on time but when we arrived in Ninh Binh we had to get out of the Bus and wait 20 Minuten for another one. Then we drove to Hanoi and had to get out, bit only a few of us, not all of us. Then we had to get into a 3rd bus. But the drove us directly to our hotel, so that was a nice extra service.
The 1,5h duration was not met though, all together it took us about 3h.
We were 30min early at the pickup point and it was raining. Driver spotted us immediately and let us in the car while waiting for other guests.
Seats were very comfy. Water was provided. Bus left on time and arrived on time. Had to change to a regular van (no VIP) for the last 15mins in Hanoi (route was Ninh Binh - Hanoi), but that was okay (probably easier to tackle Hanoi‘s traffic in a smaller van).
