There is no indication that you are sharing the bed with someone else anywhere on the booking or ticket. Also you get dropped off in the middle of nowhere in Sihanoukville and are told to make your own way and pay to get to the port when the bus could easily drop you there
We booked a ticket from Siem Reap to Koh Rong, but when we arrived at Sihanoukville we were just dropped out of the bus with no information. No one of the employees spoke any English, and when a woman arrived that did speak English she was not helpful at all. She told us it was her first day she said she could not help us, but later on she said she did this every day. And even though the employees at Siem Reap told us a transfer from the bus to the boat was included, we eventually had to pay for a tuktuk to take us to the boat. All in all, extremely bad customer service!
Really great. Very punctual, easy to find pick up location, they made sure I was next to another female as to not be with a male. Beds are not comfortable, very hard, but not terrible. Overall very good
Nothing bad to say about the journey, just if you are coming to koh rong, they will drop you off at a bus station near the port rather than at the port, there are some tuk tuk drivers that will try get you to go with them and they make it sound like they work for the company when they do not, the company runs its own shuttle service which is included in the ticket, so use that to save yourself a couple dollars
Bus was uncomfortable, full. Not a lot of space. And in the 13 hours we travelled, there was one toilet break.
My ticket wasn’t valid, but I was able to get on, by the looks of it this happened to a few other people. Hence why we were crammed in at the back. Had it have been a shorter journey it wouldn’t have been too bad. But this was disgusting for a 13 hour journey.
The staff was opening and peaking through the curtains while we were laying in bed. Also, one member of the staff was laying right next to our bed on the floor. He was the one constantly moving the curtains. Overall I felt extremely uncomfortable.
An okay experience. We were an hour late leaving, then we stopped every 2 minutes to pick parcels up. One toilet stop in a 12 hour journey. Two people shared each bed, fine if you’re travelling in twos but not if you’re solo travelling. Bus was rammed with lots of people all down the aisle.
