We've travelled in the night bus from siem reap to Kampot and from Kampot to Phnom Penh. Both times the bus was on time, the staff super friendly and the service outstanding. For us the beds were too hard and too short (I'm just 1,70 m but could feel top and bottom) but it was okay for one night. Driving also was both times very good, felt safe!

We were told our bus had "broken down" and they were going to send us to another operator. Our bus was supposed to depart at 1030 and the new one left at 1100. They sent us to Kim Seng Express. They didn't honour our seats so we got stuck right behind the driver, which gave us a front row seat to one of the worst/ scariest drivers. Legit, we were surprised he didn't cause an accident. He also had a passion for honking the horn.
It was disappointing that Vibol cancelled, especially because we chose this company since it would be closer to our connection stop in Phnom Penh. When we arrived on Kim Seng, they obviously didn't take us to the Vibol stop. All in all, disappointed.

The train from Kampot is great fun ! Although it left a little late it was still a beautiful journey and a highlight of my trip to Cambodia !
